Double-dipped.... Chocolate Wafflez is a stylish Californian Sativa (70% Sativa, 30% Indica) that has been "baked" with extra love, thanks to a perfect ingredient mix of award-winning Paradise and trendy US genetics. It tastes downright delicious, but underneath the sweet facade lurks a hefty THC content (at least 21%)! This strain is a true sprinter in flowering, reaching the finish line earlier than many other sativas, while also yielding an impressive yield. In addition to all of these extravagant attributes, it unleashes a veritable explosive charge upon impact, fueled by sativa rocket fuel, which is why it is advised to fasten your seatbelt before consumption.
Lineage
Paradise Seeds has produced numerous classics over the years, and one of the more recent additions was the sativa smash L.A. Amnesia from Tommy Chong's™ collection, whose beautiful buds contain the power of two continents. How should you be able to improve such an outstanding plant? By tapping into your Cali connection and bringing Thin Mint Cookies into play to further enhance the terpene profile and elevate the potency of Chocolate Wafflez to a new level of sensory perception.
Smell and Taste
The predominant terpene in this strain's profile is alpha-pinene, and upon first tasting Chocolate Wafflez's herbaceous-sweet flavor, characteristic Haze notes first come to the fore, while the Cookies then strongly express themselves in the aftertaste. What will particularly please flavor fans is the aromatic complexity revealed between these two impressions - hints of blackcurrant, as well as minty and chocolatey notes - all wrapped up in a creamy, smooth essence.
Cultivation
Difficulty: medium
Indoors: This strain is a large-growing plant, and for that reason it should be given respect, but at the same time it needs to be disciplined in the grow room to keep it in check. As a temperamental sativa, she will stretch too much towards the light source if you don't pay enough attention to her, and that's why you shouldn't leave her in the growing phase for too long. In a grow space with very limited height room, she definitely needs restraining nurturing.
Outdoors: Outdoors, with plenty of sun and warmth, this variety will try everything in its power to live up to its destiny as a tall growing plant! In Mediterranean and southern areas, it really kicks ass, while in northern regions it also chases the light, but the more frequent cloudy skies naturally curb its large plant ambitions somewhat. Nevertheless, she is a vigorous climber, and growers in northern regions will also appreciate her good mold resistance.
Yield and appearance
Chocolate Wafflez produces compact and well branched plants but show their sativa credentials during flowering with a surge of growth. Branches extend outwards, with the lateral branches puffing up with fat crystalline buds which are more indica in characteristic. The resinous credentials of this plant are already on display after just six weeks of flowering, with a royal resin coating that shimmers like silver before turning heavenly white to close the show at harvest time.
Indoor yield: 600 g per m²
Outdoor yield: 1000 g per plant
Effect
Enjoyment related: How potent do you want your sativas to be? This plant is an it-takes-two-puffs powerhouse, its immediate onset effect has been described as a head rocket, igniting under the eyes and under the jaw, then releasing all the soaring power of Chocolate Wafflez. She has a very high THC content (at least 21%), and the entourage effect of her cannabinoid and terpene profile leads to a mind-altering effect experience that lovers of art and music will enjoy.
Medicinal: The potent potency of this strain makes it suitable for experienced cannabis users, who will welcome the energy boost it delivers as much as the uplifting feeling of absolute well-being. Once the initial energy kick has worn off, the consumer is left in a state of gentle relaxation.
Growing Data
