Auto SFV OG has a medium-sized plant structure. She is certainly not small, but she is not extremely tall either. This average height makes her quite easy to grow, among other things.

She is slightly smaller than her parent Auto Glueberry OG, but even with this strain you may occasionally find an XXL lady in your package, especially when grown under perfect conditions.

The thick layer of trichomes gives the buds a beautiful, sparkling resin layer that ensures that their dried buds have an extraordinary look.

What genetics are in Auto SFV OG?

These feminised autoflowering seeds are the result of crossing a cutting of the famous American cannabis strain San Fernando Valley OG (SFV OG or SFV for short) with one of our most popular and appreciated autoflowering strains: Auto Glueberry OG.

These two OGs are truly a match made in heaven! You can expect medium-sized autoflowers with a very strong and sturdy plant structure, every now and then you'll find a lady in your seed packet that has the potential to grow to enormous size.
Auto SFV OG is an autoflowering strain that you really shouldn't miss. With independently measured THC levels of over 20%, this is a very powerful autoflower strain from the USA with a strong, long-lasting high.
Auto SFV OG produces strong, vigorous hybrid cannabis plants with a good XL yield.
Auto SFV OG is classified as a full hybrid autoflower because it has both the external characteristics of an indica and a sativa. The leaf structure of this strain is also clearly that of a hybrid.

Its sativa traits are most visible in the plant and flower structure, growing fast and vigorously and producing sturdy, long flowers. The indica side of the genes is more apparent in the sticky trichome production in the flowers and the eventual earthy, Kush-dominant terpene profile.

The large flower buds of our Auto SFV OG are completely covered with sticky resin and are extremely potent when dried. With a THC content between 20 and 25%, this is not a strain for beginners.
The plants grow to an average height of about 75 to 100 cm. In the best cases, or if the grower uses a hydro system, for example, some plants can even reach a height of between 125 and 150 cm.

The thick buds often merge perfectly with each other, forming relatively strong flowers in the late flowering phase. The flower-to-leaf ratio is good. It is therefore not a difficult strain to manicure/trim.
However, gloves are a must during harvesting, as is alcohol/oil to clean the scissors of all the resin that collects on them when cutting. It is not easy to get all the resin off your hands!

Auto SFV OG is an easy strain to grow, even for beginners. Good yields can be achieved naturally, but it is recommended to use strong (LED) lights with deep penetrating light so that the plant can develop properly from bottom to top.

The plant structure is best described as medium to large, the internodal distance is average and the leaves have a hybrid structure that tends slightly more towards sativa.

The slightly above-average internodal distance ensures that the flowers can grow longer and fuller, which ultimately benefits the yield.

Effects of Auto SFV OG
This hybrid autoflower strain is known for its powerful effects. Due to its extremely high THC content, it is guaranteed to give you a strong high. The high cannabinoid levels, combined with a rich terpene content, ensure a very pleasant yet powerful high.

This high can last a long time. The effect is a hybrid effect, in which the initially dominant mental effect is combined with a pleasantly relaxing physical effect.
A high in which both physical and mental effects come together is called a hybrid high. This combines the best of both worlds and won't leave you glued to the couch, but it won't make you overly alert or energetic either.
The high of Auto SFV OG is therefore both euphoric and relaxing. Energetic yet calming. Ideal for use during the day or in the evening if you don't plan on going to bed right after.

The flowering time of Auto SFV OG

In an average of 10–12 weeks, Auto SFV OG grows into an autoflower with an average height of about one metre. This, combined with a high yield and top-quality flowers, makes it ideal for commercial cannabis cultivation.
Growing this strain in a SOG setup with smaller pots can speed up the flowering time a bit. If you grow her in large pots of about 20–30L, she will likely need between 80–90 days to fully mature.

Due to its more sativa-dominant plant and bud structure, this auto can tolerate slightly higher humidity than the more compact, indica-dominant Kush autoflowers. This is an important trait inherited from the Auto Glueberry OG parent.
If you want to harvest at the right time, we recommend taking a close look at the trichomes (preferably with a microscope) and waiting until about 10–20% are amber in colour. In moderate outdoor growing conditions, it may take 1–2 weeks longer to fully mature.

The yield of Auto SFV OG

Our Auto SFV OG is a high-yielding strain. The XL classification indicates that very good yields can be achieved. Yields between 50 and 150 grams per plant are therefore quite possible.
This applies to both indoor and outdoor and greenhouse growing. Give her enough attention, good, airy soil, sufficient water and nutrients and she will easily give you a good harvest!

This autoflower yields an average of between 450–500g/m² (17oz/3x3ft) when grown indoors. This can be achieved both naturally, with fewer but larger plants per 3x3ft (m²), and with several smaller pots and plants per 3x3ft (m²), such as in a SOG.
Auto SFV OG can also be grown in a SCROG setup due to its sturdy branches. The highest yields when using this technique can be achieved in a hydro system, although we only recommend this to experienced growers.
