Slipstream female cannabis seeds by Compound Genetics is one of the latest strains to release in feminised seed, this time crossing the infamous Animal Mints with the Compound Genetics' staple Jet Fuel Gelato. The resulting offspring produces some of the heaviest trichome production ever witnessed on a clone in Compound Genetics stable, which, if you're familiar with their work, you'll know this is quite a statement to make. Slipstream yields progeny that exhibits exceptional trichome coverage that matches its unbelievable potency that typically ranges in the lofty regions of up to 30% THC whilst also delivering a medium-sized yield.
The resulting progeny expresses a range of terpenes from both parents mixing a decadent cream and fuel-tinged gas with some noticeable herby notes. The gas flavour is mild and is subdued by the heavy gelato funk that comes through. Compound Genetics advises that the Slipstream is primarily for indoor development as Animal Mints can be prone to leaf stress in colder temperatures and high VPD. Therefore, the growing stage's characteristics are atypical and will finish up between weeks 8 and 9 of flowering.
