Feminized Skunk #1 seeds are one of the original old school varieties that made its way to Europe in the 1980s. A very tough and highly resilient hybrid, that is easy to grow, highly productive, taking only 56-60 days to flower. Make sure your carbon filters are working extra hard when growing this lady indoors.

Growing

A three-way hybrid dating back as far as the 1970s consisting of Afghani, Mexican, and Colombian genetics. One of the original breeding blocks of the early days and a blast from the past.

Skunk #1 Feminized performs incredibly well outdoors and has a high resistance to cold climates and pathogens. You can expect true hybrid vigor from this cross and for her to display the most desirable traits for the parental lineage.

Indoor

When growing, this hybrid will display more of her sativa influence, with medium-sized intermodal branching. We recommend training this girl up over the vegetative period, as she can grow massive.

Skunk #1 Feminized is a low maintenance strain, making her ideal for beginner growers, as well as commercial growers looking for big yields.

Once flowering begins, this lady can stretch to a height between 120-150 cm (47-59 inches) with a stocky appearance. THC levels are 15%-20%, making her effects well-balanced and perfectly suited for smokers with a lower tolerance.

Outdoor

Outdoors, this cultivar will stay short and squat and stretch with a chunky appearance. Plants will grow as tall as 150 cm (59 inches) in some cases and will require a full 60 days of flowering before harvest.

Depending on the climate, some plants may finish in 8 weeks and can be harvested in the middle of October. Skunk #1 does not require a lot of maintenance or support.

Fungal resistance

Skunk #1 has a high resilience to pathogens as well as insects. She can endure cold temperatures and does not suffer from powdery mildew like some other plants. A great choice for growing in the countryside or high up in a mountainous region.

Flowering time

Indoor

A quick finisher that needs 56-60 days of flowering before plants can be harvested. Some phenotypes may even finish within 50 days, with the most productive needing a week more. Skunk #1 can take a high E.C, meaning she enjoys a large amount of nutrient solution.

Outdoor

Growers who live in a tropical climate will get incredible results with Skunk #1 as she can take the hot weather and cold nights with ease. Flowering time will take 7-9 weeks and when planted in Spring will be ready in mid-October.

Yield

Indoor

Yields of 500 g/m² (17.5 oz per square foot) can be expected when grown in a Sea of Green. She has a very distinct aroma that is pungent, dank, and reminiscent of a Skunk spray, so be careful when flowering indoors as well as drying out.

Outdoor

Outdoors, Skunk #1 can produce up to 750 grams (26.5 oz) per plant under the right conditions. We advise plating as a Sea of Green or in a large-sized container or directly into the ground.

Plant height & structure

This hybrid produces huge-sized nugs, that have a chunky appearance with maroon-brown hairs, with a prolific resin profile, meaning this cultivar is a good choice for hash makers. A fast flowering strain that will finish at a medium height of 100-120 cm (39-42 inches).

It is possible to finish plants between 60-80 cm (23-31 inches) tall when grown in a Sea of Green with small pots such as 7.5-10 liters (2 gallons). The buds will be tight, compact, and have a light green hue wrapped with bright orange hairs.

Training

We recommend topping the plants early in the vegetative stage to create a top canopy that has many main colas. Plant height can be easily controlled, making Skunk #1 a great strain for limited height indoors or outdoors.

Smell, tastae and effect

Her flavors are much sweeter than her aroma and can be described as pungent, deep earth, dank, with soft citrus overtones. As the buds cure, there is more of a lemon bleach aroma that comes through with a strong earthy base.

Growers who enjoy fruity, floral, and earthy terpenes will really benefit from this cultivar. Skunk #1 is a very pungent and loud, so be careful when carrying this flower around in public and make sure she is airtight or triple bagged.
