The North Star has a complex, hard-to-describe terpene profile that is distinct and a definite winner proved to make some genuinely elite hybrids, such as the infamous Smarties (Blue City Diesel x Cookies) by Kush4breakfast that is now close to being a decade old.

Smarties stand the test of time as one of the elite and best GSC hybrids ever hitting the market. Archive Seed Bank bred the North Star with the desire to create a male (blueberry leaning) line to work into other complex berry flavours and hybrids that they possess. This would then be an explorative breeding journey to try and combine their 'berry-ish" mother stock with this blueberry-leaning male. Such ideas would be the Colorado FLO, OverFlo, Flo x Zkittlez #3, Flavour Pack #32, and Toro #12. They are also working with a Cookies hybrid to hark somewhat back into the winning Smarties formula and explore where it can take them.

A fundamental interest of Archive Seed Bank is to unlock the results when crossing this back to the original Smarties clone itself or its other relatives that stem from the legendary breeder @kush4breakfasts' stable of special winners.

This objective is the program's long-term goal and is one step in what will be a multi-generational investigative journey. North Star will be a very limited breeding stock meant for genetic explorers who wish to find their own North Star in the world of the blueberry-OG constellation.
